Reaching out for support can be scary, and I know how that feels. One of my strengths as a counselor is in working with young people, creating a safe environment so you can feel comfortable and be your authentic self as you access the help and support you need . I begin the therapeutic process by listening intently to where you are today, then we work together to create opportunities for the growth and healing you desire.  I tailor the therapeutic experience by blending different approaches and techniques to suit your needs: play therapy with person-centered therapy, Gestalt techniques with narrative therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with +10 years of counseling experience with children and adults. This was preceded by 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents within the home and education fields.   My joy is being able to help young people who have not yet learned coping tools to manage many of the challenges they face during their adolescence relating to self-esteem, peer pressure, anxiety, depression, substance use, and any other source of stress they may be experiencing.

Outside of working with young people, I love to be outdoors, enjoying nature’s playground. Hiking and biking various trails, exploring new places with my wife, family and friends, and visiting my homeland (England) are all important to me as I balance my life.
