Welcome! I’m Sara.
I'm a graduate student therapist who believes deeply in every person's capacity for growth and healing. My own therapeutic journey has shown me the courage it takes to seek support and the transformative potential of a genuine therapeutic relationship. I'm committed to creating welcoming, inclusive environments where you can explore your mental health, discover your authentic self, and navigate life's challenges.
I work with teens, young adults and adults looking for support with neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, chronic illness or disability, and identity exploration. My approach is client-led and non-pathologizing, recognizing that you are the expert in your own experience. My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from attachment theory, mindfulness, internal family systems, narrative therapy, and relational therapy models.
Before transitioning to mental health counseling, I worked as a registered dietitian, helping people develop healthier relationships with food and their bodies. This experience has given me valuable insight into how mental health, body image, and overall well-being intersect—perspectives I bring into my therapeutic practice.
Outside of therapy, I’m likely engaging in various crafts, gardening, moving my body in ways that feel good, playing with my cats- Juniper and Indigo, and dog- Bennie, listening to music, and connecting with friends.
I'm glad you're here and would be honored to support you on your journey.
